Mateusz Janur vs. Tomasz Ostrowski – middleweight title fight at FEN 60

Mateusz Janur vs. Tomasz Ostrowski – middleweight title fight at FEN 60 in Hala Relax

On November 8th, 2025 at 7:00 PM, Fight Exclusive Night returns with its jubilee event FEN 60: Ostrowski vs Janur, held at Hala Relax in Piotrków Trybunalski, Poland. In the main event, our brand ambassador Mateusz Janur (10-6-0, 6 KOs) challenges the reigning champion Tomasz Ostrowski (5-1-0, 3 KOs) for the FEN middleweight championship (83.9 kg)

For Środowisko Miejskie, this is more than just a fight – it’s a story about the city, ambition, discipline and style. Let’s take a closer look at both athletes and at what makes this matchup one of the most compelling middleweight fights in Polish MMA this fall.

FEN 60 – event, venue and atmosphere

FEN 60 is a milestone – the sixtieth event of Fight Exclusive Night. The show takes place in Hala Relax, a sports venue located in the very heart of Piotrków Trybunalski. The arena regularly hosts handball and basketball games and major national sporting events, and is adapted for both sports and entertainment shows.

Media and the promotion itself highlight FEN 60 as one of the key combat sports events in Poland this autumn, with Ostrowski vs Janur headlining the card and closing the night as the middleweight title clash.

This is where our ambassador Mateusz will step in, aiming to capture his first major championship belt.

Mateusz Janur – our ambassador chasing gold

From Lubin to the big stage

Mateusz Janur comes from Lubin and has been a familiar name to Polish MMA fans for several years now. He appeared on the radar of a wider audience around KSW 80 in Lubin, where he was presented as a hometown representative on the big stage.

According to Tapology and other MMA databases, Mateusz currently holds a professional record of 10-6-0 and ranks among the notable Polish middleweights. He’s also listed in Europe-wide rankings for his division.

On his official athlete page he describes himself as a PRO MMA fighter and a BJJ purple belt, which perfectly reflects his well-rounded skillset: he can win in stand-up and on the ground.

Fighting style – dangerous hands, heart of a fighter

While different statistics may differ slightly in details, one thing stays the same: Mateusz is an aggressive, offence-oriented fighter with many early stoppages on his record. Tapology records multiple KO/TKO wins; from his team we know his current tally is 10-6-0, with 6 wins by knockout

Key characteristics of Mateusz’s style:

  • Strong striking – he likes to engage in boxing exchanges, and can change the fight with one clean punch.

  • Durability and grit – he’s not afraid of tough rounds; he’s shown he can weather storms and come back later in the fight.

  • Solid grappling and BJJ – as a BJJ purple belt, he knows how to control from top, transition and threaten with submissions if needed.

His résumé features wins on multiple Polish events, including the MFG series and other regional shows, where he’s beaten both veterans and up-and-coming prospects.

Janur & Środowisko Miejskie – a natural fit

As an ambassador of Środowisko Miejskie, Mateusz embodies what we stand for:

  • he lives the city life,

  • trains hard while juggling everyday responsibilities,

  • fights for his dreams in the cage,

  • and represents genuine urban style every day – not just in front of cameras.

You’ll find pieces Mateusz wears in our collections: hoodies, T-shirts, pants and accessories that work in the gym, on the mats and on the streets.

Tomasz Ostrowski – the champion to beat

Reigning FEN middleweight champion

Tomasz Ostrowski (5-1-0, 3 KOs) is the current FEN middleweight champion. Over the last few years he has built momentum step by step, capturing the vacant belt at FEN 56 in Wrocław, where he defeated Łukasz Stanek via TKO in the third round.

Databases list him as a fighter out of Wrocław, with his 5-1-0 record placing him among the stronger middleweights in Poland and Eastern Europe.

Knockout streak and finishing instinct

Tomasz’s recent run is all about imposing pressure and finishing fights. Stats show that 3 of his wins came by TKO via punches:

  • At FEN 51 – a quick TKO in round one,

  • At FEN 53 – a TKO in round three, after wearing his opponent down,

  • At FEN 56 – the aforementioned title fight against Łukasz Stanek.

He is recognized as a fighter who moves forward, applies constant pressure, throws meaningful shots and does not hesitate to go for the stoppage once he senses weakness.

A tough, legit champion

In European rankings, Tomasz is placed among the better-ranked middleweights in Eastern Europe, and his path to the title proves he’s no paper champion.

For Mateusz, this isn’t just another fight – it’s a showdown with a proven titleholder, someone who has already passed his own championship test.

FEN 60: Ostrowski vs Janur – what could decide the outcome?

Two different journeys colliding

We have Mateusz Janur – the grinder, who fought his way up through regional shows to earn a 10-6-0 record and finally a title shot at FEN 60. On the other side, Tomasz Ostrowski – the champion who seized his opportunity at FEN 56 and now stands as the man to beat at middleweight.

Style vs style – key points

1. Striking and knockout power
Both men come in with proven finishing ability:

  • Mateusz – 6 wins by KO, dangerous in the pocket and in close exchanges,

  • Tomasz – a streak of 3 TKO wins, known for forward pressure and heavy hands.

Expect a fight where a single clean shot can flip the script.

2. Championship rounds & cardio
As a title bout in the middleweight division (83.9 kg), this fight is scheduled as a championship main event. Longer distance favors those with strong conditioning and experience in tough later rounds. Mateusz has gone the distance multiple times in his career, while Tomasz has shown he can carry his power into the third round.

3. Pressure dynamics
Ostrowski enters as defending champion, Janur as challenger. The champ’s task is to maintain his status; the challenger’s – to seize the one big chance. Quite often, it is the hunger of the title challenger that ignites an extra gear we’ve never seen before.

4. Game-plan and corner work
At this level, details decide: how they open the first minutes, whether they manage distance properly, when they choose to clinch or shoot for takedowns. Both come from teams with experienced coaches who will certainly prepare very specific game-plans.

Why this fight matters so much – for Mateusz and for us

A shot at the belt – and at history

A win at FEN 60 would mean for Mateusz:

  • the FEN middleweight title,

  • a major step up in the Polish and European middleweight hierarchy,

  • potential doors opening to other big organizations in the future.

This fight can literally redefine his career path.

Our ambassador on the title track

For us at Środowisko Miejskie, Mateusz is not just someone whose name is printed on a poster. He is:

  • a city-living athlete who grinds every day,

  • a fighter who represents our style in everyday life,

  • living proof that urban lifestyle and hard professional training can go hand in hand.

When Mateusz steps into the FEN cage, a part of our story – streetwear, sport and urban energy – steps in with him.
