Who is Cezary Oleksiejczuk? – our ambassador, now a UFC fighter

Record, rankings and basics

Cezary Oleksiejczuk, 25 years old (born January 6, 2000), comes from Łęczna, Poland, and is the younger brother of UFC veteran Michal Oleksiejczuk

According to Tapology and Sherdog, his professional MMA record stands at:

  • 16 wins – 3 losses (16-3-0)

  • 9 wins by KO/TKO

  • 2 wins by submission

  • the rest by decision

He competes at 185 lbs (83.9 kg) with a height of 6'3" (190.5 cm), and around 56% of his victories come via (T)KO, underlining his identity as a dangerous striker.

In global rankings he’s listed as:

  • the #1 middleweight in Poland,

  • one of the top middleweights in Eastern Europe,

  • roughly #69 middleweight worldwide, depending on the rating system.

Over the last three years, his record is 6-1, and he enters UFC on a four-fight win streak against notable opposition.

The road to UFC – from FEN and Prime to Dana White’s Contender Series

His recent run clearly shows his progression:

  • March 2024 – FEN 53: Oleksiejczuk vs Kuanyshbayev
Main event win via doctor-stoppage TKO in round 3 over Bolat Kuanyshbayev. A statement performance that proved he can handle long, high-pressure fights.

  • October 2024 – Prime Show MMA 10
    First-round KO/TKO (3:33) over seasoned ex-KSW contender Piotr Strus.

  • February 2025 – FNC 21
First-round TKO (1:30) against Tom Breese, former UFC fighter, underscoring that Cezary belongs with high-level opposition.

  • September 2025 – Dana White’s Contender Series (Season 9, Week 4)
A spectacular 36-second knockout over undefeated Theo Haig. That performance earned him a UFC contract on the spot, widely covered by Polish media and MMA outlets.

From regional promotions to FEN titles and DWCS highlight, this path has led straight to UFC Fight Night in Las Vegas.

Fighting style – long frame, finishing instinct, all-round threat

The numbers tell a clear story:

  • almost 70% finish rate,

  • significant height and reach for middleweight,

  • ability to end fights with both striking and submissions (Brabo choke, armbars early in his career).

Cezary brings:

  • crisp boxing, especially straight punches,

  • strong ground-and-pound once he hurts an opponent,

  • and a well-timed blend of wrestling entries and control to change the rhythm of a fight when needed.

On top of that, he has a huge amateur base – his own bio proudly notes 100+ amateur MMA bouts, which explains his composure in chaotic exchanges.

In short: he’s a finisher at heart, but far from one-dimensional.

Who is Cesar Almeida? – elite kickboxer turned rising UFC middleweight

Kickboxing accolades and the Alex Pereira connection

Cesar “Cesinha” Almeida is a name long known to kickboxing fans. The Brazilian:

  • hails from São Paulo,

  • captured the WGP Kickboxing cruiserweight (85 kg) title,

  • collected multiple regional and international titles in professional kickboxing,

  • and faced current UFC superstar Alex Pereira three times, going 1-2 in their trilogy.

He’s spent years fighting the very best in his weight class in the ring, sharpening his low kicks, boxing combinations and distance management at the highest level.

Transition to MMA and UFC success

Almeida returned to MMA full-time with a high-profile appearance on Dana White’s Contender Series in 2023, where he defeated Lucas Fernando, then the LFA middleweight champion, by unanimous decision and earned a UFC contract.

His current professional MMA record (UFC Stats, Tapology) is:

  • 7 wins – 1 loss (7-1-0)

  • 5 wins by KO/TKO

  • 0 wins by submission

  • remaining wins by decision

In the UFC he has already built a strong résumé:

  • April 2024 – UFC Fight Night 240: debut, second-round TKO over Dylan Budka, plus a Performance of the Night bonus,

  • June 2024 – UFC 302: narrow split-decision loss to Roman Kopylov in a competitive striking battle,

  • October 2024 – UFC 307: dominant unanimous decision against Ihor Potieria,

  • January 2025 – UFC Fight Night 249: vicious first-round KO of Abdul Razak Alhassan with a left hook, earning another bonus and a flood of media attention.

The Alhassan knockout, in particular, went viral – Michael Bisping praised the brutality of the finish on commentary, while reports highlighted that Alhassan struggled to stand up for the official decision.

Almeida’s style – clinical striking, patience and power

Cesar is:

  • a world-class kickboxer,

  • a fighter with a high KO ratio (5 KOs in 7 MMA wins),

  • and someone who brings a calm, methodical approach into the cage.

Unlike reckless brawlers, Almeida:

  • maintains excellent balance and stance,

  • keeps his guard and distance,

  • and steadily breaks opponents down with low kicks, jabs and sharp combinations before landing the finishing blow.

While not known as a submission artist, he has shown solid takedown defense and a clear intention to get back to his feet whenever fights hit the mat – because that’s where his biggest advantage lies.

Why Oleksiejczuk vs Almeida is such a compelling matchup

Striking showdown: Polish finisher vs Brazilian kickboxing ace

On paper:

  • Cezary – 9 KO/TKOs in 16 career wins,

  • Cesar – 5 KO/TKOs in 7 wins,

so we’re clearly looking at a striker vs striker matchup.

Cezary offers:

  • size and reach advantages,

  • a more “mixed” style (boxing, wrestling, ground-and-pound),

  • the momentum of a four-fight finish streak heading into this debut.

Cesar offers:

  • years of elite kickboxing experience,

  • proven precision and timing against high-level opposition (including Pereira),

  • the aura of a striker many others would prefer not to stand with.

This is exactly the kind of fight fans love: both men have the tools to produce a highlight-reel finish.

Grappling and clinch – potential keys for Cezary

Looking at Cezary’s developmental path, we know he:

  • has submissions in his record (Brabo choke, armbar),

  • uses wrestling and clinch work whenever strategy demands it,

  • can switch gears between striking and grappling to disrupt his opponent’s rhythm.

Almeida, meanwhile, is primarily a striker:

  • he has no submission wins,

  • and is not regarded as a wrestling-first fighter.

That might mean:

  • Cezary will likely test the waters on the feet early, feeling out range and timing,

  • but a big part of his game plan could involve using takedowns or clinch pressure to slow the Brazilian down,

  • and over time, grappling may become the safest and most effective path to victory for the Polish newcomer.

Octagon experience vs debut nerves

  • Cezary – debuting in the UFC, but armed with extensive amateur experience and multiple main-event appearances at regional and European promotions.

  • Cesar – already has several UFC bouts, two bonuses and the experience of performing under the bright lights of multiple Fight Night and PPV events.

It’s the classic scenario:

“Hungry debutant crashing into the rankings”
vs
“established technician defending his spot”.

Why you should watch – and support our ambassador

  1. Historic angle – the Oleksiejczuk brothers are making history as a Polish sibling duo competing in the UFC at the same time.

  2. High sporting value – Almeida’s only UFC loss came by narrow split decision, and he rebounded with dominant performances and brutal KOs.

  3. Stylistic fireworks – Cezary’s aggression and versatility vs Cesar’s world-class kickboxing.

  4. Ranking implications – a spectacular win for Cezary could immediately throw him into the conversation for bigger names in the middleweight division.
